Wear cool and comfortable clothing, as the studio will be nice and warm. Neutral colours and tones always photograph well. Please avoid logos and patterns on shirts. And just in case there are any small accidents, bringing an extra set of clothes is always a good idea. Most of my family photos are really cropped so the focus is on your tiny creature, so what you are wearing is not really much important. I would recommend being happy with what you are wearing more than something that is trendy. A plain t-shirt does the trick if you don't have many options.

We like to allow plenty of time for feeding and cuddling during your session, so plan to be here for between 2 - 3 hours. Throughout this time you may get hungry so we recommend bringing a snack with you. As well, it might be a nice idea to have water with you. I do normally get really focused taking the pictures that I (most of the time) forgot to show you around. The toilet is next room in the direction of the kitchen feel free to go there if needed ad let me know if there is something to feel you more comfortable.

We have plenty of props for you to choose from and like to involve you in the styling of the session. If you have a special item you would like to incorporate, we would love for you to bring it along. As well it is important that you mention it at the beginning of the session so I can plan accordingly.

I do not want to stress you before the session, but I do encourage you to feed the baby before coming, as it is most likely baby will fall asleep on the way to the studio and I will perform better knowing the baby is not hungry. For the same reason, I ask them to dress them in either a nice outfit or an outfit that is not going through the head. This way I have the opportunity to shoot photos as soon as you arrive. I call them my safety photos and if the baby is more than 6 weeks most probably will be the only sleepy photos. Please come to the session with extra nappies, milk and dummy (even if the baby is not taking it could be necessary to translate from one set to the other and keep the baby sleeping).

During the session, I will give you my advice to take the perfect photo of your baby. Please take into consideration that maybe not every pose or prop is suitable for your baby. Babies younger than 2 weeks has more chances to remain sleeping during the session, making it shorter and in most cases, they are a lot more flexible. After week 2, it will depend on the baby personality, but in most cases, it will less sleeping sets up.  And after 6 weeks, they become stronger so other props will be available.

The newborn session includes 3 sets and family photos. I will be taking family photos first or later depending on how the baby is reacting on the day of the session.
